in oil and wine, and set him on his
own beaft, and brought him to an
Inn, and took care of him. And on 35.
the morrow when he departed, he
" took out two pence, and gave them
to the hoft, and faid unto him, Take
care of him; and whatsoever thou
spendeft more, when I come again,
" I will repay thee. Which now of 36.
"these three, thinkest thou, was neigh-
"bour to him that fell among the
" thieves? And he said, he that shew-

ND_it came to pass, that as [Fe
was praying in a certain
place, when he ceafed, one of his Dif
ciples faid unto him, Lord, teach us to Bethany. Etat. 32. pray, as John also taught his disciples. Luk. xi. Minist. 3. And he faid unto them, When ye 2.
pray say, Our Father which art in
" heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy
"Kingdom come. Thy will be done,
" as in heaven, so in earth. Give us 3.
day by day our daily bread. And for-4.
give us our fins; for we also forgive
every one that is indebted to us. And
" lead us not into temptation, but de-
" liver us from evil.
And he said unto them, "Which of 5. " you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at mid-night, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6. a friend of mine in his journey is come
to me, and I have nothing to fet be-
"fore him: And he from within shall 7.
" answer and say, Trouble me not:
"the door is now shut, and my Chil-
dren are with me in bed; I cannot " rise and give thee.
" I say unto you, Though he will 8.
" not rife and give him because he is
"his friend; yet because of his impor-
tunity, he will rise and give him as
many as he needeth. And I say un-9.
to you, Ask, and it shall be given
you: seek and ye shall find: knock
" and it shall be open'd unto you. For 10.
every one that asketh, receiveth: and
" he that seeketh findeth: and to him
" that knocketh it shall be opened. If1.
"a son shall ask bread of any of you
that is a father, will he give him a

But he knowing their thoughts, faid unto them, "Every kingdom divided against it " self, is brought to defolation: and a " house divided against a house falleth. 18." If Satan also be divided against him"self, how shall his kingdom stand? "because ye say that I caft out devils through

"eth through dry places, seeking reft
" and finding none, he faith, I will
return unto my house whence I came..

eth it swept and garnished. Then 26.
goeth he, and taketh to him seven
"other Spirits more wicked than him-
"self, and they enter in and dwell..
there and the last state of the man
" is worse than the first.
And it came to pass as he spake 27.
these things, a certain woman of the
company lift up her voice, and faid
unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare
thee, and the paps which thou hast fuck-
ed. But he said, Yea, rather blessed are 28,
they that hear the word of God and
keep it.
